2nd Modern Kiwi

This second Kiwi is equipped with a Minimi support weapon.
As before, the weapon was made first using miliput sculpted onto a pin shaft – and that was cast before being added to the figure, so that I may use the weapon for other miniatures in the future.

Commission sculpt for new company – more to follow.

adjusted

The first job do with this sculpt was the Steyr weapon – and having sculpted it on the end of a pin, it needed to be pre-cast because a weapon like this is hard to make and very fiddly, and it’s delecate so it will be broken up when cast, so I needed pre-cast weapons to save making a new weapon each time I make a new figure. There are several variations on the weapon so this first one it the basic weapon – addtions like other sights, grenade launchers etc can now be added to the basic weapon as required.

steyr

I’ve now also done a support weapon – and again pre-cast it.
